It seems someone ratteled Karl's cage again, Karl have you got a z8530 based
SCC card, and do you realy know what is is??.

In the early days of development the z8530drv caused me and a lot of others
quite a few peoblems. Now as a matter of fact i have 3 different systems all
with SCC based cards, the card itself or the driver does not cause linux to
crash, sometimes an interface will just stop working, but still LINUX will
not crash.

Misconfiguration on the otherhand of any piece of software can cause
problems but still should not cause linux to crash, if it does i am quite
sure it will be updated quite quickly, or widely disscussed.

Please keep comments like this one to yourself and yourself only...

Your linux system might crash regulary, looking at some of the misconfigured
files you send to this list that would not suprise me one bit.

If you cant reply with anything better than what you wrote in this message
then please spare us ALL the bandwidth.

It is better to keep your mouth shut and be thought a fool,
than to open it and remove all doubt.
