This is just what happend, only the tnc was not connected to a radio, so i
am wondering if possably a dirty 12V supply could do something like that.
Its a pity your message did not come sooner as the computer and TNC are
back by its owner 2 blocks away from here and all seems to be working now,
however i will check his power supply and see if it is ok.
