xFBB 700g and ax25 maxframe

Hi All,

Just installed the final release version xFBB 700g.

When conducting some tests, noticed that the system was only
transmitting 2 AX25 frames at a time (ax25 max frame =2).

I have my axports set for max frame = 4 and also have port.sys (FBB)
set at max frame = 4 for each port.

The kernel default is max frame = 2 and confirmed this by checking
the source code and the files in /proc..

Changing the default to max frame = 4 by writing to the appropriate
files in /proc.. as described in the HOWTO and restarting xFBB
allowed xFBB to transmit 4 frames before acknowledgement is necessary.

port.sys correctly.

Using kernel 2.0.35 and ax25-utils-2.1.42a.
Distribution was RedHat 4.2.

Can anyone confirm this for me?

Thanks
Cheers
