I dont have a pk-12 but one would imagen that if you disconnected the
battery, or removed the jumper (if presant) and waited a short while the
pk would revert to defaults, and possably give a prompt in minicom.

'kiss on' and then possably 'restart'

All the above is of the top of my head, so it possably is not correct,
but worth a try i would imagen.
