I'm using the AX.25 call program (from ax25-utils-2.1.42a) to connect to
the local FBB mailbox.
When giving the SYS command, FBB sends a 5 numbers which represent
column positions in a password file.
After returning the correct string, I'm in sysop mode.
It is a bit of a hassle to lookup what the correct password string
should be. So I made a small shell script to extract it for me. But I
still need to copy it with the mouse (gpm) and paste it onto another
console, run the script, and past it back onto the console with the FBB
connection.
It's a step forward, but still I would like it more automated.
Does someone know if there is a patch available for the AX.25 call
program, that automatically looks up the correct password string and
sends it back to FBB. ?
