AX.25 CALL program problem

Good day all,
I finally managed to 'scrape' togeather the components required to
have my Redhat 5.0, 2.0.35 kernel run the AX.25 components. After
many unsuccessful attempts to patch and/or compile the net-tools and
the AX.25 utilities, I decided to search for a solution. On the
Redhat FTP server I found the file:
/pub/contrib/SRPMS/net-tools-1.41-2.src.rpm. I had no problems
compiling this source at all. The one thing is lacks is ROSE support
which is not a big deal at the moment. I also managed to locate a
binary .RPM of the AX.25 utilities that was built from a Debian
release using the alien tool.
All seems to work based on the fact that my mheard daemon sees other
calls and displays them. However, when I run the CALL program, I get
the error "Error opening terminal: Linux". I have no idea where to
look at this point but it almost sounds like there is an
incompatability between some of the components.
Can anyone help me with this problem?
Also, I live in the Toronto Ontario, Canada area and would like to
obtain an AMRP IP address so that I would be able to utilize TCP/IP
via radio and possibly configure a radio to Internet gateway.
Thank you in advance....
George Minich
