ax25ipd config question

I think I've successfully configured the ax25ipd daemon on my system,
and have it talking to my primary radio interface (a PI card) using
net2kiss and a pty. I've edited ax25ipd.conf (copy below) and it
doesn't barf at startup.

Now I have a couple of questions about the practical use of this setup.
My goal is to provide axip links (digi, not netrom) for our local DX
cluster (who access me via RF on the pi card port) to link to remote
systems. (I previously had all this working with TNOS as the gateway;
now I'm trying to transfer the functionality into kernel AX.25).

Apart from defining the "mycall" in ax25ipd.conf and setting up the
routes to the remote gateways, is there anything else I need to do? In
particular, do I need to put an entry in axports (or any of the other
ax25 config files) for W8APR-7 or /dev/pi0a? Or, am I finished with
what I show below in ax25ipd?

And, when I had the ax25ipd logging set at 2 or 3, I was seeing an
error message along the lines of "I am destination" at frequent
intervals. I believe this was caused by stations connecting to me via
the PI card and using other services than ax25ipd. Is it correct that
this message is harmless and I can ignore it?

Thanks for any pointers on this.
