Thanks Kym
The system as now screwed up so starting again.
I notice that on the F6BB Web site that the various fbb linux files are
coded in that some start with x others with xd;there ara aso various
suffixes such as f c g. I assume x by itself is Xwindow and xd is xdaemon
but what is the other coding ??.
By the way my kernel is 2.0.31
