Two comments. The use of /dev/cuaX is discouraged. The support for these
devices is about to be removed from the kernel (if I'm not completely
mistaken). Use /dev/ttySX instead, you get less potential problems with
device locking too.
Secondly Gabriel asked about a PS2 mouse so the link should probably point
to /dev/psaux. Why his X server complains is not clear to me though.
Gabriel try this: cd /dev ; rm -f mouse ; ln -s psaux mouse
Maybe the link points to some strange place...
