I'm trying to set up an old 386SX with Debian to get the AX.25 stuff
running on
the box. I figure I need to set it for network. It asks several
questions.
I have a few answers, but need some re-assurances and some other
answers.

hostname? n5ba ?

Domain name? ampr.org ?

IP address? my 44.number assigned to me.

netmask? 255.255.255.0 That's their
default..OK?

IP broadcast address I ain't got no clue !!! ???

Is there a gateway (y/n) IP gateway address ?? The station I send
through??

DNS nameserver Who should that be?

Primary network interface? Packet radio isn't an option. What do
put? ppp, slip???

I'm sure more questions will follow, but hopfully I can solve most of
these equations.
