I've recently upgraded from an old Slackware to SuSE and have a problem with
listen.
2.0.33 & utils 2.1.42. The radio script is the last one to be executed.
In my radio scrip listen -ca >/dev/tty9 & worked ok, but now I get the
screen receiving all the packets and some strange character might spoil the
display after a while.
The description of it is packets being displayed only in the top quarter of
the screen and as if it was a very slow video display.
listen -ca >> /dev/tty9 & seems to be a little more stable. And the same
happens if I
enter the command from the prompt and not from the script. The problem also
occur
but later.
I donīt know much about "redirection", so I'm not sure if I'm doing well
with the command, or even if is tty9 the best option to display traffic.
Thanks for any help.
