Hmm, a nasty problem indeed. For what it's worth: I'm running2.0.33 patched
with ax25-module-14f, with a PE1PET SCC card,
on RedHat 5.0. The chip is a Zilog 8530, nothing enhanced about it.
I'm running it almost continuously, without any of the problems
you described. So, it is either something specific to the USCC card,
or to the kernel version.
I'm stuck to AX25 and TCP/IP, no NETROM/ROSE...
Does anyone experience the same trouble under 2.0.33+modules 14f,
or some other kernel revision?
