You didn't need to do that- it'll apply just fine to 2.0.32 or 2.0.33,
and you'll then benefit from the additional bug fixes in the later
kernels.

Don't worry, It's not just you. The problem is Glibc 2, which is not
quite compatible with the AX25 utils. There is a patch available to make
it compile under the latest Debian, but it still requires a bit more
hacking to make it work. I can send a patch to you combining the Debian
patch and my alterations if you want (please don't criticise the horrid
hack I have used to make it work- I have commented it as such and it is
only intended as a temporary measure until Glibc is fixed).
I still have not got the net-tools to compile under Redhat- it seems
even more broken than the ax25 tools were. So, for the moment you'll
need to make do with the distribution net-tools (hope you don't need
Rose :). Anyone know if the latest beta net-tools compiles under Glibc
2, and where to get it- not that I've looked too hard.
