I apologise if this is very slightly off topic - at least the Flexnet part, but I am sure someone with more knowledge than I must have done this.

Here I have Linux (2.0.33 with all recommended patches, modules and ax25-utils) working really well. I have node functioning correctly and I am very pleased with my Linux radio side of things. I have also configured one ethernet BPQ port as per Terry Dawson's HOWTO and am sure this is also working fine.

Now for the slightly off topic bit. On another computer, elsewhere in this QTH, we are running TSTHWIN (a packet PMS type program) running with PC Flexnet running under Win 95. This also works well and I can link this system to the Linux node perfectly using a serial cable to link comports on both machines using KISS. What I would like to do is use an ethernet connection instead of the serial cable to do this. Flexnet allows an ethernet connection using a program called ether32.

I wonder if anyone has done this already and could perhaps assist, perhaps by sending a copy of the Flexnet boot or setup file. Any help would be gratefully received. Maybe I need to configure the Linux system for a protocol other than BPQ ? If you have done this or can help in any way, please let me know.

Ken. G3WCS.
