Everything on my linux system relative to the linux AX25-HOWTO has now been
installed and compiled including XFORMS and all is well.

So I have now started on the next step to activate my KAM+ on vanilla ax25.
I cannot work out where this is coming from.Because as above I have not done a
"ifconfig ax0.......".I,ve done a check across the system but darned if I
can find the cause.
The /usr/bin/call radio1 vk3xxx checks out OK.
My linux system as hostname of vk3bcq-1.ampr.org 44.136.73.150
Can someone put me right please
Problem solved
Many thanks to all you folks who anwsered my query and put this here 75 year
oldie on the right track.My learning curve is still fully vertical but I
appreciate the help on the list.I also see that I shall have to study the
mans a bit more.
