We use PI2/Paccom56K and the old PI/DSY homebrew pieces with no trouble.
We used JNOS/DOS and Linux 2.0.33 with the PI-driver. The new driver dmascc
for LINUX worked in a LINUX 2.1.xx version, forgotten what xx it was.

One thing you have to watch for is the cable length from PI to the DSY-Box. If
you dont have linedrivers installed, the length should be kept short, say no
more then 80cm or so. I had lots of trouble when hooking up the new Paccom 56k
with a cable that worked fine with two DSY-homebrew boxes, but gave all sorts
of errors with a Paccom without linedrivers installed.

A second hint is the old PI-card had trouble with the BUS-clock, which i think
is gone with the new
PI2-card, but am not shure, as the hardware has not changed very much in
delaying the IO-ack signals.

Ok, thats my coin.
