Hi folks.

I have some troubles getting soundmomdem to wrk...perhaps someone out there
can be of assistance?
Perhaps I have only missed a smaller detail?

I have upgraded my Debian 1.3 to hamm... Seems to wrk OK even though there
was some complains abt configuring problems with (if I remember correctly)
/usr/lib/ld.so

My system:
P233MMX, Sound blaster 16.
Kernel 2.0.33
ax25-module-14f
ax25-utils-2.1.42a
net-tools-1.33
net-tools-1.33.rose.tjd.diff

Compilation = UFB.

setcrystal (or setcrystal -s 0x220 -i 5 -d 1 , doesn't seem to make any
difference)
insmod hdlcdrv
insmod soundmodem
sethdlc -p -i sm0 mode sbc:afsk1200 io 0x220 irq 5 dma 1 serio 0x2f8
ifconfig sm0 hw ax25 SM7SJR up

So far no errors or anything strange...

Have so far only connected the rx fom the radio to the soundcard. When I
hit ifconfig -a it says RX packet: 0. And when I try to run smdiag -i sm0
-e nothing happens...

I have no rose configured or support compiled in. Haven't done that much
with the ax25-config files, should be able to RX something, or am I dead
wrong here?

Any help much appreciated... 73's de SM7SJR, Bjorn.
