Well maybe i am way off line here but, SoundBlaster cards have 0x220 as
there standard IO address, at least mine has.
I did not know that SCC cards can use higher IRQ's, i have only an 8 bits
PA0HZP card.
I have a friend here who has a USCC card which works ok on his linux box.

Really you should have ax25-modules-14e with kernel 2.0.32 the differance
is just one file ./linux/include/linux/ax25.h
(As to this causing the problem, i doubt it.)

You need a small program which is not included in the ax25-utils package
called axdigi.

This points to a address conflict.

Then it should work ok under linux as well.
Are you sure the clock and mode settings are correct on each port.?
Any hints in the syslog?.
