No its not Pf = Packet Forwarding, no its not a bug in Redhat, its a nifty
thing from Kerneld, its explaned in ./linux/Documentaion/modules.txt,
basicly to get rid of the messages edit /etc/conf.modules and add the
following.

alias net-pf-4 off
alias net-pf-5 off

4 i think, note i say think, is IPX and 5 is appeltalk.
Sorry to be so vage but i am on my old H/D at the minute and dont have new
information.

Nope, just define
CONFIG_MODULES=y
CONFIG_MODVERSIONS=y
with make config.

Thats also documented in ./linux/Documentaion/Configure.help
