Hi

I know this should go to the networking list, but i don't wanna subscribe
to another list just for one question...

After I have compiled a new kernel for my RedHat 4.2, i get a lot of
modprobe: Can't locate module net-pf-4 (And 5's)
from syslogd, what is these modules? Is there any way to get rid of them???
It's iritating because it searches the HD whenever i do a ifconfig (which
results in the above 'error' in syslog), and i have a script that does a lot
of calls to ifconfig (Waiting for ppp0 to become active)

Thanks to everyone that can help me...
