I tried to recompile the kernel 2.0.33+mod14e and scc.o failed. No
problem for me...disabled scc and all went fine. I'm not using any
rose-stuff. But, so far no serious problems with RH5.0 and ax25-modules.

Me. I have an ax25-utils-2.1.42a.i386.rpm built under RH4.1 and it
looks like it would work under 5.0 too. I've done a quick test only and i
do not use any routingdeamons or rose. Maybe someone would like to do more
tests. I'll try to upload my rpm to ftp.pspt.fi.
