I tried to send this to Terry directly, but somehow omail.telestra.com.au
thinks I am trying to relay via it and bounces the message (have you been
missing mail, Terry?) Sounds like an attempt to filter spam gone bad.

Anyway, I should have sent it to the list in the first place.

I'm using glibc 2.0.6 (debian version) and it appears to still have some problems. In fact, I had compiled splitscreen with an earlier version and it worked fine, but now segfaults and recompiling doesn't help.

I don't think Craig's changes are there yet (2.0.6 appears to have been released on 28 December 1997).
