Sorry for being a bit off the ball here, but what actually was the
conclusion reached regarding running packet on a Glibc 2 system?

I have a Redhat 5 system with kernel version 2.0.33, a newer glibc than
the one in the distribution (Can't remember the number offhand), and the
latest ax25-modules patch, and would like to know what to do to get the
ax-25 utils working.
