I am running the Dx CLuster (clx2.07), in order to allow some complex
connects I need to run Expect(5.18), which in turn needs TCL.
I have installed TCL, when I run expect I get the following:
linux:~# expect
Tcl_Init failed: can't find /usr/lib/tcl7.4/init.tcl; perhaps you
need to install Tcl or set your TCL_LIBRARY environment variable?
So I temporarily set the variable and run expect again:
linux:~# env TCL_LIBRARY=/usr/local/lib/tcl7.6 expect
Tcl_Init failed: version mismatch: library
scripts expect Tcl version 7.5b1 or later but the loaded version
is only 7.4 linux:~#
I don't know where the system gets the idea TCL is only at version
7.4, prior to installing TCL 7.6 I cleaned everything out that any
mentionof TCL in it.
The Linux version here is 2.0.30
Does any one have any ideas, either how to solve this, or where to
ask questions??
