That all looks looks pretty much fine to.

What this means is probably that you can't directly talk to 44.71.38.26
or (s)he is off air.
If you run the 'listen -a' command you should see your node transmitting
ARP requests for that address. If you are then chances are you're ok.
You may have a problem with your kiss timing parameters, particularly
txdelay, it'd pay to play with those before seeking the help of others.
