Hello HAMS and Thomas,

On my system sccinit hangs just after detection of the first chip
(2 ports) on my OptoSCC card, this is with the most recent kernels (2.1.71
and a few before) 2.1.66 kernel works OK here(all 4 ports/2 chips are then
detected). I think it has something todo with the changes in kernel patch
2.1.67.

I use the z8530 utils 3.0 in case this matters, and the scc support is
compiled as module.

Did i mis something about the scc driver, or just a new feature? :)

Argh! All right, so how am I supposed to work with Linux when
everything's already been done?! Can't these people leave some
broken MSDOS like parts so there's problems left to solve!?....
