Hi Jim.

I dont need to reboot the machine just have to do the following:

ifconfig scc0 down
kill ax25d process
ifconfig scc0 up
ax25d &

Sometimes it goes for days even weeks with no problems, the problem seems to
be caused by data queues getting to high.

Symptoms:

The ??? instead of the device name in proc/net/ax25, in /var/log/messages
from ax25d (accept) invalid argument closing socket
Is this what you have ??
