I presently have 2 questions (the first unrelated to the second):
Has anyone tried using the AEA PCB-88 with Linux??
Recently (around mid-sep) Tomi and Terry each put up some
good information about setting up xfbb using psuedo-terminals
and kissnetd. I think I followed the instructions pretty well in order
to setup xfbb on my system, but I must be doing something
wrong cause it doesn't seem to work. I'm presently using the
2.0.30 patched kernel with ax25-utils-2.1.42a and net-tools-1.33
and everything has compiled cleanly. I'm having no problems
setting up the ports and suspect all my problems are strictly
on the xfbb setup side. After I run the xfbb daemon and attempt
to connect I get the following with the ifconfig command (for example)
ax1 rx packets:0
tx packets:3
ax2 rx packets:3
tx packets:0
I have one TNC connected to /dev/ttyS1.
This box also has an ethernet card at 192.168.192.3
(in case it matters)
the LOOP0 and LOOP1 ports are configured with the
ampr address 44.69.196.17 -- is this the way to do it ??
Any and all suggestions are greatly appreciated.
What info do you all need to help ??
Thankyou
