Hi Everyone,
I have just borrowed a Motorola DSP56002EVM from our university, and
have spent an evening looking at some ham-related applications. (mainly
filtering, as I don't have the interface for using the modem software.)
I was quite impressed with the performance of these things, especially
for narrowband signals, cw and the like. A few tens of hertz non-ringing
cw filter is pretty amazing!
The dsp modem software, I gather, just sends a stream of received bits
to the PC. Is there any software for Linux around which could make use
of this?
I suppose this is the same problem that Thomas Sailor is facing -> no
terminal software??
73,
Kevin
ps: for anyone interested in dsp, the site
