I've had a look at this.

The T2 timer does work, but there does seem to be some inconsistency
with respect to how it is set and what it is set to.

I can't recreate your circumstances because I'm not exactly sure
what you are doing to test it.

Could you forward for me a detailed, but summarised (point form)
list of the steps you are taking to perform your tests please?
