I'm running a 386SX/25 here (well, at home). With 8Mb, it's perfectly
usable. It's running Apache httpd, sendmail and named. Kernel compilation
takes about 3.5 hours (it was over 10 hours when I had only 4Mb).

On the console, I almost never notice it swapping, except during
compilation. Typically, it has about 1Mb of idle daemons (I assume) swapped
out.
