Hey! I was writing about it a few days ago, but now I can
say that T2 timer on Linux not working at all! If I set
T2 timer in /proc/sys/net/ax25/ax0/t2_timeout, is has no
effect. Same when I put value in ax25d.conf in default
section. It doesn't work too! Linux sends acknowledgement
when he wants, probably randomly ?? I tried various values
for this timer, and still the same!!
Next, my idea was to try set T2 timer independently for
each established AX25 connection I wanted to, with a little
help from axctl command. For example:
axctl vhf SQ9ANR-2 SP9YZT -t2 1
and... it works!! After this, and ONLY this, Linux sends
acknowledgement after 1 second of end of my transmission.
So, anybody can say me why above things are occuring ?
This is bug ? Or I still forgetting something?? I think
author idea wasn't T2 timer not work??
At end, configuration: kernel 2.0.30+ax-module14d,
ax25-utils-2.1.42a. Port ax0 is attached to TNC2 in
kiss mode with kissattach command.
