I just connected two Manchester modems beetwen two of my boxes. They are
connected to serial ports (one to ttyS1, other to one of free Cyclades ports)
and only important? (wired) pins are DCD, TX, RX and RTS.

Kernel 2.0.31 is on both machines. Problem (one of!) is, I see no "Serial
port KISS driver for AX.25" question in config section "Radio network
interfaaces" at all. I tried kissattach from ax25-utils version 2.1.22, and
got something this error

Can't locate module tty-ldisc-5

What kernel version is expected to work with this setup?
