I know I know, this is linux-hams but where better to get some answers?
I have successfully compiled DOSEMU 0.66.7 and am up to the install stage.
However, I only have WIN95 installed (with Linux in a UMSDOS FS) and using
the net ./setup-hdimage program it asks for DOS's IO.SYS MSDOS.SYS and
COMMAND.COM
to configure it to boot the HDIMAGE it wants to create. I only have thos
WIN95 versions and is freezes at that point. I really dont want to
re-install MSDOS (and probally then WIN95, so it boots), how can I get
MSDOS's IO.SYS, MSDOS.SYS and COMMAND.COM onto the hard drive again
without upsetting the status quo.
BTW, this is so I can use TPK under dos (WINE is later for WINPACK) all
under LINUX.
Thanks for any help you can offer.
Regards
Mark
ps I have subscribed to the LINUX MSDOS list but havent had any messages
from them yet.
