Thanks for the info .. I did not want to throw a wet blanket on the
discussion I just wanted to hurry it along. I am interested in higher
speeds and will check out the sources that you sited.

In this area it would be hard to get enough people in a 2 mile radius of
each other to do much. It would be neat to get a few people in a row
together. Then you could route from end to end.

I think if you could do 100kb end to end with $15 NIC cards and a low
cost radio interface thing things could get very interesting.
