QST is a request from your system to db0sig to find out which hardware
address db0sig uses. When db0sig sees the QST (ARP Request) he should send
an ARP Reply back with his ax25-hardware address, then your system will
(should) then be able to communicate with ftp telnet etc.

But one thing which IS NOT CORRECT, (presumminmg you have a direct link to
db0sig) is the IP# for DB0SIG.ampr.org, your system is sending out the QST
message addressed to 44.130.176.192 which belongs to db0aaa-1.ampr.org.
Doing a nslookup here for db0sig i get 44.130.55.100 as his IP#.

Three things spring to mind which you need to check.

1) Routing, maybe all your packets are routed thro' db0aaa-1.ampr.org and
HE might have a static arp for you in his system, and you have made a change
in your interface callsign-SSID.
Or db0sig is receving your QST from db0aaa-1 and then sending a reply out on
the wrong interface, which you will of course not see, resulting in a failed
connection.

2) Mixed up IP#'s from both db0sig and db0aaa-1.

3) db0aaa-1 just does not see your packets.

I stongly advise you to read the AX25-HOWTO written by Terry Dawson, URL:
