probs with tcpip over ax25

Hello,
I configured my linux box to understand the tnc with kiss.
It is no problem to make ax.25 connects out.
But I can't make tcp/ip connects! When I try a 'ftp db0sig'
the tnc sends the following things:

>Port port0: AX25: DD0UL-1->QST <UI> pid=ARP
>ARP: len 30 hwtype AX25 prot IP op REQUEST
>sender IPaddr 44.130.176.68 hwaddr DD0UL-1
>target IPaddr 44.130.176.192

What is QST? I want to ftp to db0sig, and not to QST. There
is no station QST listed in my configuration files, not for
ax.25 and not in the configuration files for tcp/ip.
What ist wrong here?
