I can listen, but can not call!

At the end I got a working Linux box running ax25utils successfully.
I can listen all the network traffic via a baycom modem and a VHF
wireless radio.

But I could not get a response to may 'call' requests.It says

GW4PTS AX25 Connect v1.11
Trying...

And that's the all story.

Here we have a gateway on which TNOS is successfully running .I tried to
connect to my Linux from that one ,but I could not manage again.

Could someone tell me what I am missing ?
