That's not standard. Why do you want to use so big frames ??? You are not
doing packet radio ! :-)
So the error is yours, all that you will do with this frames can work or
not work, except if you redifine a new ax25 standard, and addapt the
software to this particularities.

There is no problem at all, just that you try to use something badly.
Don't confuse mtu, window and frame size, that are 3 diferent things !!
You can have high mtus, using ax25 fragmentation, that's the correct way
to minimize the ip overload.
