This is an ideal opportunity for someone wanting to learn X11 and
network programming to jump in and volunteer to write such a program.
I'm sure it would be popular.

Rip the socket programming bits out of the call program, add some
X11 interface stuff to it and MacDink it to your hearts content after
that.

Then let me know so I can include it in the HAM-HOWTO :)
