Make sure you have allocated enough buffers in /etc/z8530drv.conf and make
sure the bufsize is at least 148 bytes larger than your MTU.
Ie,
bufsize 656 minumum for a MTU of 512
rxbuffers 12
txbuffers 12

The defaults can be seen in scc.c
