If you are having serial port overruns, DOS NOS will report this as part of the
"asystat" display. Look at "RX sw over" and "RX hw over" counts.

Maybe they have a plant shutdown or something. Many manufacturing firms in the
U.S. just close down for a week or two in July or August to give all of their
workers a vacation at the same time.
If you really can't solve this, perhaps I will try to call Kantronics on your
behalf next week and see what I can find out. Since I am in the U.S., the cost
of the calls would be fairly cheap.
