I'm using 2.0.29 with the ax25-diff??? something
[root@unicorn net]# pwd
/proc/net
[root@unicorn net]# ls
alias_types ax25_route ip_input ip_output sockstat
aliases dev ip_masq_app raw tcp
arp igmp ip_masquerade route udp
ax25 ip_acct ip_mr_cache rt_cache unix
ax25_calls ip_forward ip_mr_vif snmp
[root@unicorn net]#
As you can see I don't have local_rt in /proc/net.
If this is something to convince me to upgrade to 2.1.x I have no problem.
I've been holding off for a bit because I'd heard that some of the 2.1.x
kernels did some very unsavoury things, though I'm not too uptodate on
the current state of the 2.1.x kernels.
If this would be recommended, do many of the system utilities need updating?
I know this should be about on the Net somewhere, but it's to allow me to
know what I'm letting myself in for.
