Your problem is with the fact your using BOTH AX25-UTIL and TNOS. If you
want to use TNOS in the simplest way you turn off the ax25 kernel tools
and write an attach in TNOS to the serial port.

I know that there is a way to link TNOS to the ax25 kernel tools but I
have never got that to work. I just loaded Xwindows and the ax25-util and
am running the FBB packet bbs software and I have Linux sendmail and
other tcp/ip functions working over ax25. I think this is a better
solution. I know it's a lot more stable.
