Hi Rowan,
To my knowledge there are at least two types of AST fourport card. The
type that Chris (g0pae) andf I have are the earlier type and from your
description (a single 8 way dil switch) I think that yours is too. As
Chris said they work fine under Linux.
I think Chris may have already sent you the settings, if not email me and
I will send them.
Do you have the 37 way connector info? if not I can furnish that too.
