I have one of these cards and its 51 page A4 sized manual. I am happy to
post you and anyone else a copy snail mail. Alternatively I could type
up the more important points in this list.

I have had the card working under Linux talking to a VT220 terminal so I
can confirm they work OK. As Mike said, using 16550A chips helps out if
you want to send much data at even moderate speeds.
