Brain Lantz seemed to have the best answer, seems i was still asleep this
morning when answering Richard's mail. (slip obsolete)
Just one comment on using ptyp0, ptyp0 is used by the console as (it seems a
first choise), so i would imagen if Richard try's to kissattach an interface
using ptyp0 he could have problems, ie: kissattach: open: I/O error which
is what i get when trying, 'ps' shows.
PID TTY STAT TIME COMMAND
3056 p0 S 0:00 (bash)
I would imagen using /dev/ptyp0 at boottime is ok, but after the system is
up and running then (here at least) it is in use.
Or is there a much more simpeler explanation.?
