ERROR: cannot bind AX.25 socket, Cannot assign requested address

I have a problem using ax25_call and a couple other programs. Here
are the versions I'm Running:
Linux-2.1.22 ; ax25-utils-2.1.22b
I'm trying to use the program ax25_call, but whenever I do, I get
the folowing message:
ERROR: cannot bind AX.25 socket, Cannot assign requested address
I also get a similar message when I try to use DPBOX, however I am
more concerned about getting ax25_call working (However I do feel they
are related in some twisted way).
