I never got it to work here but Darryl G7LED produced an XLZW server
support program which is called from inetd with the real server as
its argument. It's a binaries only release.

If you can get it to work it will do half of what you need, I don't know
how you'd get client support. I don't know if it is on an archive site
but I could send it to you. It's:
