The not RSPF iface counter is used when you receive RSPF packets on an
interface that you haven't specified in the configuration file. Of course
if the inteface is not in the config, then rspfd will not send any RSPF
packets out there, including RRHs.

I'm not sure what version of rspfd you are running, but later ones have an
automagic script that picks up (hopefully) all your ax25 interfaces and asks
you which ones you want to configure.

The symptom for you running 2.2 and xNOS running 2.1 is that the NOS
stations will ignore your RRHs and routing bulletins. There is also a bug
in the *NOS rspf trace code that says 2.2 packets are invalid packet type,
this should be changed to someting like incorrect version.

I was working on a port of RSPF v2.2 to *NOS. A hard drive failure whiped
out what I had done (which wasn't that much) and I haven't started again
yet. I'm working on getting RSPFd v0.08 out.

Sorry for not answering you earlier, I don't know how I missed this message
before.

Gabriel, telnet into the daemon and ask it what interfaces it is currently
looking at with the ifaces command, like;

| # telnet 127.0.0.1 9006
| Trying 127.0.0.1...
|Connected to 127.0.0.1.
| Escape character is '^]'.

See what interfaces you have and check that this interface you have your
friends on is in that list. I should put more bugs in my code, it is the
only way I find out who uses the program :)
